I had the opportunity to observe a few colorectal surgeries at North York General Hospital with Dr. Peter Stotland and Dr. Usmaan Hameed. Our goal was to create a sequence of surgical illustrations together, specifically using line drawing techniques for coursework in the Masters of Biomedical Communications program at the University of Toronto.

I worked collaboratively with one of my classmates, Kelsey Zhao, and we were able to create a surgical illustration of a Sigmoid Resection for Diverticulitis.
