FELIS SILVESTRIS (DOMESTIC CAT) 3D SKULL
MScBMC @ UofT
Using Computed Tomography data from Digimorph, I recreated the skull of a domestic cat in 3D as coursework for the Masters of Biomedical Communication program at the University of Toronto.
3DSlicer was used to segment the CT data and isolate bone tissue. Afterwards, cleanup was done in ZBrush, where bone texture was hand sculpted into the model. Finally, the model was imported into Cinema4D where materials were added and final rendering was done.
